Hi I'm Nicki Petersen

I was raised in Washington. I went to BYU-Idaho and have been called to serve the people of Scotland/Ireland.

About Me

I was born in Utah and moved to Washington when I was 8 years old. Lived in the same house since then. I went to BYU-Idaho for three semesters and am on a mission now in Scotland and Ireland. I love to dance and be outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but it was still a very personal journey for me, just like it is for everyone to come to know that this is the true church on earth today and my Father in Heaven has a plan for me that is eternal and full of joy. I know that if I put my trust in Him and do as Christ said in Matthew 10, "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it”, lose myself in the love and service of others, He will bless me. I know that as I am constantly thinking about my Savior and all he has paid for me, I am growing and coming to know who I am. I know I have a testimony of Him, He suffered a pain no other human can imagine, Because of Him I can live with my Father in Heaven again. I am eternally indebted to Him, who descended below all and is perfectly positioned to lift me higher. The Atonement is real, My Savior is risen. I love Him and I know He loves me. I am a Mormon because my faith is ever growing in Him who knows me.

How I live my faith

I have served in various callings in the church, brought friends along and am now serving a full-time mission. I want to go home and be a better example to those around me of how I love and live my faith. I know my Savior has given me an opportunity to come to earth and know of the gospel. It is now that we share it with others and invite them to experience the joy we have from the gospel.
