Hi I'm Sonia

I'm a native Texan now living in Torino, Italy. I'm a daughter, sister, wife, mother and a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Sonia and I'm a wife, mother, Texan... and a mormon. I live in Italy with my husband and 3 beautiful daughters. I love to cook and bake for my family as well as learn new crafts. I've started knitting, crochet and learning about photography. I also started running and have found to really enjoy it!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and therefore have always had it be a part of my life. While living in a foreign country is difficult, especially when you don't know the language, it has been a great blessing knowing that my church family is here to help me. The church is home to me. I find peace and comfort on Sundays. I love knowing that I can go to any meetinghouse in the world and be welcomed and feel the spirit. I know God has a greater plan for me and I'm beginning to see it unfold.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are not of the same religion. He is Catholic and we have chosen to teach our daughters the principle values that our churches have in common. We will build our family foundation on those values and help each other to grow and love Christ. While my husband is very active in the Catholic community, our daughters and I also do our part to support our church and local leaders.
