Hi I'm Corinne Beavers

I'm a wife, mother, dark chocolate lover, photographer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Rochester, NY about a half hour from Palmyra and Hill Cumorah. Every summer we would go watch the Hill Cumorah Pageant, which I love. I have always loved living near the church sites. And now, my husband and I live in Fayette and attend church every sunday at the Peter Whitmer Farm, the home of the Restoration. I feel so blessed to be so close and to be able to feel the spirit that dwells in these sacred places. I am a photographer. I became a photographer b/c as a young child I was always in awe of the beauty of the world. I wanted to capture that and share it with others. Being a mom keeps me so busy, so I don't have a lot of time to photograph, other than my own kids at this time. But to me they are the most beautiful of God's creations. :) I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years. We are best friends and I couldn't imagine my life without such a wonderful man. We have 4 beautiful children that I love with all my heart. My family is everything to me. They bring me so much joy and happiness and I am grateful to know that I can be with them for all of eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the the church. But that is not the only reason why I am a mormon. I am a mormon because I know that it is truly the Lord's church on earth. As a young teen I took Moroni's challenge to ask with a sincere heart if these things are not true (moroni 10:4-5). I did receive an answer and I know with every part of my being that they are true. Since that time I'm my life the Holy Ghost has made these things know to me many times which has strengthened my testimony. I feel so blessed to have been taught the gospel as a child and through out my life. It has shaped who I am. Everyday I am grateful to know that truth of the gospel as I raise my children. There are so many questions and concerns as we try to shape these little ones into strong, confident, faithful people. I see so many struggle with how to deal certain situations that arise as they raise their children. I am so grateful that I know what is important in life and what to teach them. I am grateful to be able to have the Holy Ghost as my daily companion. It helps me feel our Heavenly Father's love and guidance as I face the many challenges in my life. I am also grateful for the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I have received so much peace and strength from them in my daily life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in every part of my life. It helps me determine how I raise my children, what and how I teach them and how I treat others around me. Being a Mormon helps me look at others around me and treat them as they are, children of God, my spirit brothers and sisters. I have been blessed to strengthen my faith not only when serving my family but also serving in many different callings in church. I have been a primary teacher, a relief society teacher, and served in all facets of the Young Women's youth program.
