Hi I'm Brittney

I'm a happy wife and mother of 5. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love music, writing, and have an interest in psychology. I have a great husband and 5 kids who I think are amazing. Two are serving missions right now so others can have the blessings we have.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised with the Gospel, our family was in and out of activity. As a child, whenever things were difficult, I knew that Heavenly Father was helping me, and I had a testimony that this was His true church. I attended church to feel peace, and I knew I wanted to be married in the temple. As I've grown to adulthood, I've come to know even more deeply that this is the restored church of Jesus Christ, as He organized it while on earth. I love it, and I love its teachings about families. My family is the most important thing to me, and the Gospel teaches us how to love each other and how to be together forever. The Gospel makes life make sense.

How I live my faith

I'm serving in the children's organization in our church right now. I love working with youth and children! I'm also serving as PTA secretary for one of our schools.

What is the priesthood?

The Priesthood is the authority of God, to be used in the service of all of His children. It blesses all, including women, children, and men. I am so grateful that Priesthood power is on the earth today, and exercised by faithful, loving men. The Priesthood can only be used in accordance with God's will, and therefore cannot be misused. If a man attempts to misuse it, his Priesthood becomes void, and he is acting alone. No other organization so clearly defines a man's roles and responsibilities in caring for his family, nor provides access to the Priesthood to assist him in these responsibilities. As the burden of child rearing has traditionally fallen to women, the responsibility of the Priesthood enables men to be equally involved in caring for the family. The Gospel teaches that men and women should work together, making their unique contributions in the church and in the family. The Priesthood is the power by which the earth was created, the power by which families are sealed together for eternity, and the authority to perform God's work on earth. Show more Show less
