Hi I'm Stephanie Gabriela Sabando

I was born and raised in Toronto, ON. Been a member since birth, preparing to serve a full time mission in France, Paris.

About Me

I would say that I am a old soul. Love old school music, playing sports, reading about health and just hanging out, getting to know the city I live in and the beauty in nature around me. I love food and enjoy learning about different cultures. My parents come from Ecuador and i embrace my culture 100%. I'm the youngest in my family with 3 older siblings. I have a very close family and love each of them. I have 5 nieces and 1 nephew that i adore.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon cause that is all I know is 100% true in my life. There is no doubt in my mind that this gospel has brought made me the strong person i believe i am. I love it and try to embrace it everyday of my life. knowing that we have the opportunity to go back and live with our Heavenly Father is my encouragement, i believe that families can be together forever and that is something i will strive to attain one day. What i love most about this gospel is the importance that is put on family, the pure love and respect that there should be. I believe that if we are truly obedient and live the principles each day of our lives we will find success. And i don't mean materialistic success but find the true meaning of life which brings happiness. there will always be trails along the way but i always remember that i am not alone and that the Lord doesn't give me anything i can not handle. I look at them as blessings in disguise because they ultimately help you grow in knowledge and wisdom.

How I live my faith

I love this gospel with all my heart. I don't know where i would be without it. It has helped me develop many skills and virtues. I am currently attending a young single adults ward and it was very hard for me to move from my family ward to there but i am so grateful that i had friends that encouraged me and ultimately helped me make the decision. it's great having people your age with the same values and aspirations as you have that can help you through this life full of temptation. I am currently an ambassador for my family ward, this is my calling, and basically my job is to bring youth from there to the YSA ward and just get in contact with those less active.
