Hi I'm Helaman Cedeno

Hey! I'm Helaman Cedeno. Born in Mexico, raised in Toronto. I'm serving a mission in Vancouver Canada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a fun, loving, hardworking and humble Mexican-Canadian Mormon boy. I love working out, boxing and spending time with my family. I'm serving a mission in Vancouver Canada and once I return with Honour I plan to attend BYU where I will study to become a Youth criminal defence lawyer.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well, I'm a member of the church because I was born into it. My parents were members and their parents were members as well however, I'm a Mormon because I have a testimony in Jesus Christ, I know that He lives and loves us. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that the Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. I know that Joseph smith was a true prophet and that we have a prophet on the earth today and his name is President Thomas S. Monson. I truly believe this with all my heart. I am so thankful for the pioneers who endured so much for my generation, the generations before mine and the ones to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving my neighbours and treating everyone equally no matter how different we are. I strive to keep the commandments, attend church regularly and study my scriptures. I constantly seek opportunities to exercise my priesthood and serve residents in my community as well as members of the church. I've been blessed enough to serve within the youth program as a deacons (boys age 12-13) and teachers (boys age 14-15) president as well as the assistant to my bishop.
