Hi I'm Tayler

I grew up in Utah. I love to play tennis and be outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time outdoors and I am definitely a pet person. I have two dogs, a Shih Tzu and a Yorkie-Dauchsund mix (my little dorkie). I'm not the best cook, except when it comes to desserts. I attended Utah State University for one year before submitting my mission papers. I have now been called to serve in Argentina and will be reporting to the MTC on October 22, 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was in high school, my parents decided they needed to separate. My mom moved to the next town over, while my dad stayed where he was. Both of my parents, as well as my two brothers, stopped attending church each Sunday. This was the first time in my life where I had to decide for myself if going to church was worth waking up early and sitting by myself during the meetings. Lucky for me, I had developed a strong relationship with my Heavenly Father before and during those difficult transitioning times. After praying for guidance, I was comforted by the spirit and I knew that this was the true church. I made the choice to stand strong and still attend church, a choice that I am most grateful for today.

How I live my faith

I have spent a lot of my time helping and teaching the young women in my ward. During the past year though, I have bounced around from my college ward to my home ward. This has made it difficult to have a specific responsibility, so I mostly live my faith through being an example and serving others along the way.
