Hi I'm Zack

I was born into a strong christian family. I am a curious citizen of the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid explorer. I love almost all topics of education and love to learn how the world works. Hiking and biking through nature are some of my favorite activities outside. If I had a superpower it would be to stop time so that I could have more time to understand the mysteries around me.

Why I am a Mormon

The church has given me peace and comfort. I have struggled with my faith and continue to struggle through the process of becoming like Christ, but every time I come to Christ and enter back into the covenants I made through his Church I find peace. The scriptures allow me to find answers given by ancient prophets, while the current leaders can give me additional guidance. I find particular strength in the ordinances that my church provides. I participate in the sacrament each week, hold the priesthood (the same priesthood power held by those of old), and have entered into covenants with God in modern temples. Our church claims of a restoration, that it is Christ's church upon the earth. I add my testimony that it is the restored church. It is a complete restoration with the same priesthood power as was shown through Moses or through Elijah. I feel it and love it and hope that you can too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following what I know to be right. I have found that I innately know what is correct, but having true faith is following those promptings. This includes serving others, building up my family, and actively looking inside myself to act better each day. It is a challenge. I often do not live up to my expectations. I fail many times, but that is why my faith is necessary. My church shows me an eternal perspective, and my relationship with Christ as my redeemer helps me to overcome my weaknesses.
