Hi I'm Brie Gould

I'm from the state of California, I love the mountains, I believe in truth & simplicity, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, but I have lived the majority of my life so far in California. I have a split family consisting of full, half, and step siblings, whom I all love. I play the guitar and the piano, and I love to sing and dance. I served a mission in the Nebraska Omaha Mission, speaking Spanish. I am currently attending Brigham Young University where I am studying Communications and photography. I love to create and design just about everything. Being outside is what makes me happy - the mountains, the lake, the park, the beach... wherever! I love to be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ has given me so much hope. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is very mindful of me. I know that through the power of repentance, I can be made whole again. I would be so lost without my Savior. It's because of him and all that he has done that I am who I am today. I know that through the plan of salvation, my broken family can be whole again. Divorce is a hard and bitter thing that far too many people experience. I know that love can and does exist, and that is can change people for the better. The greatest example of love is Christ - I know that I want to love as he loves. I know that this life is hard, but I also know that whatever we go through is ultimately only for our benefit. I know that we can become better people as we strive to be closer to heaven. I know that we are meant to grow with one another - we are surrounded by people who we can learn so much from. I believe that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is so true because I have pondered and prayed and continually tested my faith, and every time I do, I receive an answer. Heavenly Father loves His children - He wants the best for us, and He wants us to be so happy. As I have studied different aspects of the gospel, I can see how everything really does make sense, and I know that it has to be true. Life was never meant to be easy, and for this reason, Heavenly Father has given us the Book of Mormon, modern-day prophets and revelation, families, our Redeemer, and so much more. We never need to feel alone. I love this church - I am extremely grateful for the transformation I have seen in my own life because of it. I am not perfect, no one is, but I know that as I continue in faith, continue to trust my Father, continue to repent, continue to be grateful... all will work out. It always does. This gospel just makes me so happy. It's so true and so real!

How I live my faith

The way I live is an outward expression of what I believe. The gospel of Jesus Christ is more than just a belief... it's my way of life. It has been so ingrained into my heart that there is no way I will ever stray from it. I live my faith in the relationships that I have with friends, family, even strangers. I try my best to improve every day and to be diligent in learning and applying what I learn. This life is so much more than just what we see. My faith allows me to have a deeper, more eternal perspective, which helps me with every decision I make. I live my faith by sharing my love with everyone I meet!
