Hi I'm Connie

I'm a daughter, a wife, a mother and a grandmother. I was raised in Arizona and loved living in Germany. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

More than anything I love my family. Most everything I enjoy involves them. I love holidays with family, Sunday dinners with family, board games with family, and doing things with my grandchildren. I enjoy cooking, sewing, crafts, reading and hiking with family. Basically if we can do it together it makes me happy. We spent 13 years living in Germany while my kids were growing up and our favorite activities were ones we did together as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I started being a Mormon because I was born and raised in an LDS family. My mother was not raised as a Mormon so she spent many years looking for the right religion. Even though I was brought up as a Mormon, I had to develop my own testimony that the teachings were true. I attended meetings, studied, and prayed about the things that were taught. The true test of the principles came when trials and challenges came into my life and I had to put the principles to work. The plan of salvation and eternal families hold special significance for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in our home and our community. I really enjoy living the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. A lot of people think it is hard but I believe it is easy and it gives you greater freedom because you know what choices to make. I love teaching young children but I am always willing to serve in the Church in whatever capacity I am needed. Very soon I will go on a mission with my husband for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints so I can show my faith by leaving my family to serve the Lord.
