Hi I'm Kasey

I'm a sport loving, language speaking, Utahn girl, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love speaking languages and meeting people around the world. Seeing their different perspectives and cultures are so exciting! I'm in college right now getting a semester in before going on my mission. I love college, and I can't wait to head on my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I loved it, but when my parents got divorced, I started to question the Church. There were some extenuating circumstances, and I couldn't handle it. I began to move away from the Church. I knew the values were good, but I didn't know if I truly believed in the doctrines. I thankfully had--and still have--an amazing mom and friends who helped me. They encouraged me to keep studying the gospel. So I read my scriptures and prayed for a long time, and truly, my life has been blessed. The Spirit confirmed that this is the true Church. This is the way to get back to our Heavenly Father who loves us. He just wants us to succeed and come back to him. I am so grateful for this gospel and my Savior. I love the gospel and my Savior and my Heavenly Father. They do everything for us. I can't wait to share the gospel and to bring people the same joy and Spirit that I have the privilege of feeling. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. As Ann M. Dibb said, "I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it." And I truly do.

How I live my faith

I've had a couple callings so far. I've played piano for the little kids, and now I play piano for all the women in my ward when we meet. I'm currently in a college singles ward, and I love it! It's a new experience, but I love having these responsibilities and getting to know all the people in my ward! I also keep reading the scriptures and praying every day because I have to keep strengthening my testimony. I love being a part and doing things with this Church.
