Hi I'm Roberto Martin Leveriza Sing

A social studies teacher by profession, an artist and musician by passion. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been attending Mormon Sacrament meetings since I was a kid. I was baptized when I was eight. At the age of 15, I became inactive. For more than a decade I explored the other denominations and eventually became somewhat agnostic, did a lot of soul searching, until missionaries were able to help me get back on track and into the fold of the Church. I consider my days of inactivity as a blessing in disguise. I have seen the world and had a lot of good and bad experiences. I have repented for my sins and I see to it that I shall never commit them again. I will use the knowledge and experiences that I have acquired to safeguard other people, especially the youth. I currently teach college students who also want to become social studies teachers like me. In my spare time I draw and paint, play six and seven string guitars and sometimes perform and record with other bands and musicians.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been through a lot. Have experienced being such a mess. I have explored and studied the other faiths and I have to say that this is the only true Church.

How I live my faith

I have been away for so long, and I still have so many things to do. I still have to be worthy of the right Priesthood for my age. Right now I am reading the Book of Mormon and the other scriptures. I have been trying to live according to the Word of Wisdom and other Church Laws. I see to it that I go to Church every Sunday and take part in activities whenever I can.
