Hi I'm Brian

I am from Fontana California. Studying to be a surgeon. I love to read, play my guitar, and watch anime. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a High School graduate and a two year student in College. I am currently studying to be a nurse practitioner and will later continue on to be a doctor then a surgeon. I am also a cook in Carl's Jr. During my free time I tend to do what most youngsters do. I will watch tv to watch my favorite shows (Arrow, Originals, Vampire Diaries, WALKING DEAD, and Flash). Or I will watch anime (D. Gray-man, SAO, Fairy tail, Naruto, Fullmetal alchemist, etc.). As welI love to play my guitar and jam with my brother, who plays the bass. Most especially I am a reader (Harry Potter, Twilight, Percy Jackson, Star Wars, Vampire Academy, Hunger Games.) Furthermore, I also like to play Video Games. Now like most smart gamers I am an Xbox fan. I'll play Assassin's Creed, Halo, Dead Space, Prototype, Bioshock, etc. That is me.

Why I am a Mormon

Many will ask why am I a Mormon. What is different about your church then others. Why do you go to it. Well truth be told is because I feel the spirit strongly influencing me there. I can feel myself growing and learning so much in the LDS Church. It's because I have so many questions answered there that could not be answered in any other. It's because I can be comforted in the knowledge that my family shall be together as a family for eternity. It's because I can feel safe to know that if I am ever in need, which God forbid should happen as long as I follow my commandments, I know that the church will be there to help me. Honestly I can go on to say so much more, but just know that I have a testimony that I know this church is Christ's true church.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is of course important. In my church I participate in helping teach the children. Also I called as a ward missionary. Which means that at times I go with the missionaries to go out and teach to those who do not know about our church and the Book of Mormon. Other times I will go with my father to do hometeaching. This means that we will visit church members or inactive members and give them a short lesson, or just check in on how they are doing and if they need any help. Overall in general I pray every morning, during eating time, when I'm tired at work, and at night. Also I will read my scriptures at morning and night.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Brian
The Atonement of Christ. Most everyone will speak of Christ's great act. His death. Although he is dead no more. His act is truly a gift. It is thanks through his atonement that we are able to start a new. To recieve the full blessings that our God, the Father, has in store for us. It is through Christ's Atonement that we are able to grow spiritually, truly communicate with our God, the Father, and one day return to live with him. Show more Show less
