Hi I'm Naomi Edwards Cordner

I am a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My Savior, my family and the gospel bring me happiness.

About Me

I was raised in the beautiful Las Vegas valley in the great state of Nevada. I have lived here my entire life except for my college years. I studied elementary education at Ricks College and Brigham Young University. I have been a teacher in one capacity or another since 1993. I am the wife of Mark and the mother to Joshua, Caleb, and Christy Joy. I love my family and glad I have been sealed to them in the temple. Because of this we can be together forever. I was raised in a loving home with goodly parents. My six siblings are some of the very best people on this planet, and along with my immediate family are my best friends. When I'm not teaching kindergarten I enjoy playing with Lacy the mighty Yorkie, reading, swimming, and playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to born into a family that were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents were married in the St. George temple which means I was born into the covenants of an eternal family. I always had a desire to have an eternal family so 26 years ago my husband I were married for time and all eternity also in the St. George temple. The blessings of the temple mean more to me all the time as people who I love dearly have passed away. I know that I will see my beloved Dad, dear Mother in Law, and cherished grandparents again someday. It's the promise of better things to come and a knowledge that my Heavenly Father keeps his promises that make me continue in my faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in all I say and in all I do. I worship on Sundays, participate in religious family activities on Monday, attend our youth group as a leader on Wednesdays and often attend our temple on early Saturday mornings.
