Hi I'm Cortney Hollander

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm a sister, a daughter, a baker, a traveler, and a volleyball player. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint . I have been called to labor in the Uruguay Montevideo Mission. I come from a family of six and have three brothers that i love to death. I love to travel and explore new things. I'm always up to try new things and love to make unforgettable memories.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly I have grown up in the gospel and have really just adopted it as my own. While I my youth I heavily relied on my parents and leaders testimonies but as I have personally studied and desired to know more about the gospel and more fully understand many key principles of the gospel I have found that my own testimony of the teachings have grown to create significant personal meaning. While preparing to serve a mission many people have asked me about the duration and sacrifice that I personally am preparing to make. While there are many emotions and thoughts that go into serving a mission I really believe that the sacrifice that I will be making will be worth it because of my belief of the truthfulness of teaching of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily in the ways I act towards others. In the small and simple words and deeds. I also serve the people of the community through my calling as a ward missionary. My job is to help those who might have a need or are struggling in any way. I also participate in church services each week by conducting the music. I always love finding ways to serve other whether it be in a professional setting or just mutually.
