Hi I'm Jace Skidmore

Born and raised in the Church. Love being in the outdoors whether it be hiking or snowboarding. I also love being Mormon:)

About Me

I grew up in Utah around the Mormon culture. My family lived in Indiana for 4 years so I had the opportunity to live outside of Utah being Mormon. I'm 20 years old. I played sports in high school. I'm a certified skydiver and I really enjoy skydiving. I love the Gospel:) I am also currently serving a full time mission in the Puebla South, Mexico mission. I love preaching the Gospel and testifying of my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

As I said earlier, I was born into the Church. But that doesnt mean that I've always wanted to be in the Church. Especially in high school. I got caught up with not the best friends and definitely not keeping all of the Lords commandments. I still went to church almost every week for my parents sake. But other than that, thats all I was doing and wanted to do with the Church. A little after I graduated I realized I wasnt happy. I might have seemed happy, but I wasnt truly happy. And I needed to change something in my live. I remembered the scripture, Mathew 7:7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. So I got on my knees and asked. That sincere prayer that I gave that day has changed my life to this day and will have changed the rest of my life. Because of that prayer, I'm preparing to serve a full time mission. And I have found what makes me truly happy. And its the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I participate in my ward by going every week. I'll fill in by helping with the sacrament if needed. I'm always trying to set a good example even outside of church activities. I`m also currently serving a full time mission.
