Hi I'm Dennis Bird

I grew up in Utah and as a Mormon served a mission as the Prophet called me to serve in the country of Denmark at the age of 21.

About Me

I grew up in SLC Utah and went to the U of U where I graduated in Business management. I served an LDS mission to Denmark in 1969 because I wanted to share the message of the resurrection and the atonement with others because of the joy it brought me. Hobbies now include tennis and fly fishing along with handyman things around the house.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in our Heavenly Fathers plan and how we are to return to his presence. The Mormon faith provides the details as to how we can achieve that goal and the living prophet and apostles provide Gods guidance on how to do that. I just recently started another mission with my wife where we will soon be in Sweden and will be working on genealogical data to help people world wide to locate their ancestors.

How I live my faith

I participate in assignments in my church as requested by our leaders. I have served as teacher in sunday school, priesthood quorums and young men's president over those 12-19 years of age. I dedicate time to neighbors and family as needed to help them carry out their lives. Our neighborhood in one of caring for others. I visit 2-3 families monthly to see what can be done for them and to leave a spiritual message for them as well.
