Hi I'm Sundae

I'm a soprano. I love to sing and play the piano at Church. I'm a pure Filipino. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am nineteen years old and about to serve a full-time mission in the Philippines Manila Mission. Supposed to be I am on my third year in college but I chose to serve God instead. I have participated in many cultural events as dancer or singer. Most often I sing in a choir because I rarely have the confidence to do solos. But I have been doing my best recently to overcome stage fright. I am a typical girl, aside from the fact that I am random and weird - a beautiful kind of weird. I love hanging out with my family and friends. I do love traveling so much I wish one day I could travel the world. You can call me a frustrated photographer. I always love to go to the temple, I wish I could settle down in Cebu someday. A person's usual first impression of me is that I'm a snob, but in fact I'm really easy to get along with. If there is any trait that would be very remarkable of me, it would be my optimism. I just love to imagine that everything will turn out alright in the end because God will never leave me helpless. I have been single since forever, and I am reserving my heart for the right person at the right time. I want my first boyfriend to be my last... my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this Church because of my parents. They have led me here, gave me a good example to follow. At first, I was solely dependent on their testimony of this Church. But I eventually searched for myself, and found the truth through the Holy Ghost by reading the Book of Mormon. I know that this book is very sacred, and is another testament that Jesus is the Christ. He is Heavenly Father's Only Begotten Son in the flesh, sent to perform the Atonement. I know He is our Savior. He paid all of our sins in full, for us not to experience the pain and the suffering. This miracle is beyond comprehension, but I have no doubt that it is true. He loves us still that He also sent us a living prophet as the days of old, for us to be guided and know what to do in these latter-days. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and He was chosen before this life to become the prophet of the Restoration. I know that Heavenly Father loves all of His children, and He delights in families. He wants all of us to strive to be with our families for eternity, and that is only possible through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am serving a mission because this is what I preach. I will help others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. This is my testimony and I leave it with you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

How I live my faith

I am the ward secretary for the Young Women of our Church. I check their attendance every Sunday during our Sunday services, and also when we have our weekly activities. I make sure that they are updated about what activities are up for the month through texting or other forms of communication. I know them personally and become their friends. That way they can easily open up and talk about their concerns, and I give my personal best advice to them. Being nineteen years old, I am also part of the single adults' group. We are the ones who are already eligible to dating, courtship and marriage. We spend a lot of time making and keeping friendships, most especially because we are confident that each one of us can become a good example - a good influence - to one another. We also believe that temple marriage - the most sacred and solemn ceremony in our Church - will make us become sealed with our families for eternity.
