Hi I'm Brian

I was born and raised in Utah. I retired from the Military after 26 years of service. I now work in Aerospace. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to a beautiful wife of 34 years, father to three wonderful children and grandfather to three wondrous grandchildren. Family is the most important thing in my life. We love to get together and go camping, boating and ATVing. Fishing and hunting are also some of my favorite pastimes, although I don't get to go do these nearly as often as I like. I also enjoy the freedom and realism of riding my motorcycle. It is a great way to get away from the daily grind. I guess I really enjoy anything with a motor! I finished my Bachelor of Science degree about a year and a half ago. It was a great achievement for me and I earned a great deal of satisfaction by completing it. I believe I am the first in my family to reach that goal. I retired from the Military after 26 years of service. I served a year tour in the Iraq War in 2003/2004. I currently work in the Aerospace/Defense Industry. I am looking forward to the time when I can retire and spend my time with my wife travelling and visiting family. We are also contemplating a mission after retirement.

Why I am a Mormon

I would first say that I was born a Mormon and raised a Mormon. I would always consider myself a Mormon. But, if it weren't for a good Bishop in my past that taught me the true meaning of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and that saving act of our Savior, I do not know if I could have found my way to having the Testimony I have today. We can all be forgiven through the process of Repentance. I do know that by serving in our callings and giving of our time and talents, we are blessed many-fold. I really love the brotherhood and camaraderie of serving in our callings. I like how this church is a service oriented church and I feel we all need to do our part to keep the work moving.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in my ward with the Bishopric as the Ward Executive Secretary. This is a very busy, but very rewarding opportunity to serve. I recently and for many years had served in the Young Men's organization to include the Scouting side of things.
