Hi I'm David Medina

I'm an Eagle Scout. I love fishing, and being in the great outdoors. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a fisherman. I'll go just about any were to get to a good fishing hole. I also hunt. My personal favorite thing to hunt is water fowl (ducks, geese). I'm big into Scouting, and have earned my Eagle Scout award. My Scout troop has gone camping once a month for 100 consecutive months. I also play Baseball, it is my personal favorite sport. My senior year in High School my team (the Soda Springs Cardinals) went to the Idaho State 2A play offs we took fourth and beat a rival team that we had not beat in years. The most important thing about me though is that I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but like any one else I had to learn if the gospel was true or not, and like any one else I had to put forth effort and study, and be willing to act on the answers I would receive, and then ask God if it was all true.I read the Book of Mormon two times before I found out that the church is true. The second time I read the Book of Mormon was different because I was then willing to act on the answer I would receive and because I also prayed and asked God if it was true. I had to study, act, and ask. Then I got the answer. Because of that I now know that The church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints is true and that's why I'm a Mormon. When you study the Book of Mormon, put forth effort to learn the truth, become willing to act on the answer you receive and then ask God if it is true you will get the same answer I got. That answer is: The Book of Mormon is scripture. It is true. Joseph Smith is and was a prophet and the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints is Christ's church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a little better each day. I try to serve others as much as possible. I also try to do what is asked of me from my church leaders. Simply I work to become a better person and become more like Christ.
