Hi I'm Jorge Alberto Aguilar Ruiz

I grew up in Mexico, I love playing soccer, I love playing piano and doing calculus and physics and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Well a few things about me is that I love the universe, and love observing the perfect motion of all things. As you already know this, I want to pursue a career in physics. I want to be a research in the study of physics. It just fascinates me how God made everything the way it is. I am 18 and have just received my calling to serve a full time mission. I was called to the Fresno California mission and I am really excited to begin. Help other people know the way back to God, so that they could live in a place of eternal relaxation with God and their families.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? That's a good question. When I was 11 years old my father returned to the church. I didn't have that much interest because I was just a kid and didn't really see the point of going to church to hear a bunch of people speak of how important this was. As I grew up I became more involved in the church due to the fact that my parents had been pressuring me to come. When the missionaries came over to our apartment and house they always asked me If I wanted to be baptized and serve a mission. I always said yes so that I could just please them. But there was one person I wasn't fooling, God. So in my whole crazy Church-God dilemma I decided to finally ask. Ask whether what I was doing was worth my time or was it just to waste. Ask whether this church was true and if God really existed. I prayed, but didn't receive a confirmation. I thought it was dumb of me that I ever thought this could work. Time passed and certain experiences in my life showed unto me that this church was true. I merely at the time thought it was coincidence, but God doesn't do coincidences. The feeling I got from the spirit is very true and I dare not deny its influence in my life. I am am Mormon because I want to one day present myself unto God with my family, and a family of my own unto him and thank him for the blessings he has given me that have made me a better person. I want to be eternal and be happy in God's kingdom with my family.

How I live my faith

Since I will be leaving in a few weeks I was released of my callings. I was the church pianist and I enjoyed playing the piano every Sunday. I am grateful for having received and developed this talent. Through this talent I have touched people's lives and my own by inviting the Spirit during Sacrament meetings, Baptisms, And Conferences that has testified to me that this work, this glorious and marvelous work that God has is very true.
