Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Spokane Washington. I'm an Eagle Scout. I'm a golfer. I'm a rock climber. I'm an aspiring Marine. And I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm a recent high school graduate, where I played golf for four years. Prior to high school I played basketball for eleven years. I love my country and the people in it. Soon I will become a full time missionary and serve for two years in Mexico. Following my mission I plan on joining the Marine Corps and serving in a special operations capacity. I love giving service thanks to the influence of my father and the youth programs in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I am incredibly grateful for that. I love this church and the blessings that being a part of it brings. I feel so at home and welcome every Sunday at church, and I love how the gospel is the same no matter where I go. I still feel at home whether I'm attending church in my home town or across the country. I am so grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost that helps me to make good decisions and keep my life heading in the right direction. Keeping the commandments and the covenants I have made help me to be more receptive to the promptings of the Holy Ghost so I can continue to do good and be led to those in need of service.

How I live my faith

I try to accept every opportunity to serve others. I will also be devoting the next two years of my life to bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Mexico. I will do almost anything for just about anybody just as long as they ask and it's something they truly need.
