Hi I'm Mark DeBry

I grew up in Utah, I'm an artist, I love baseball, and I am currently serving in the L'viv, Ukraine mission.

About Me

I have developed a deep love of art and drawing, baseball, snowboarding, anything outdoors, acting, and especially for all types of food. This led me to get involved with almost everything in high school; which was amazing, however, it has become difficult for me to find just one avenue in going to college. I decided to put off major college decisions and go on a mission instead, in the hopes of gaining spiritual knowledge and guidance that will influence my college decisions. I am the youngest of five kids, and have a beautiful mother who has always pushed me to explore every one of my interests. My father passed away in 2009 when I was 12, which was and still is difficult, but it has only made me closer to my family, and learn the importance of relying on our Savior, who has felt our pains and more. Although it is has its ups and downs, my life is truly blessed and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I live the LDS faith because it lightens the always-increasing load on my shoulders. I've never had life changing miracles that assured my faith, but it has been daily tender mercies given to me that I truly know my Heavenly Father is there, and that he cares for me.

How I live my faith

Sometimes being a teenager and living the LDS faith can be trying, and very unpopular. But even in today's age of modern technology, corrupt media, and an ever-growing gap between the world and our faith, I find that living this faith whole-heartedly is the easiest avenue for happiness.
