Hi I'm Lita

I love people! I'm very active and happy! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 9 kids, and the aunt of 13 nieces and nephews whom I love dearly. One of my favorite things to do is be with them. We often have "Big Girl Parties" and just play together. And the best thing is that my siblings are my closest friends. I also love to do martial arts! Almost everyday i go to my studio and teach any student from the age 4 to 40. It is exhausting, but worth it. It has helped me to grow closer to God in so many ways. I have learned to see the beauty in each individual student as I have helped them perfect their martial arts. And I love to see my growth in perfecting myself through them. I have also learned of God's love through the eyes of my instructors and my students. Plus it's fun to do cool moves! I recently graduated from High School. And will leave on a mission soon! I'm super excited and nervous! But i know that the Lord will help me accomplish what he would have me do! I love the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love it. I was blessed to grow up in a family that is strong in the gospel, but they are not my testimony. My testimony began to grow when I asked for myself for the first time when I was about 12. I still remember fervently praying that I could receive an answer. But it took me a good 30 minutes to even realize that I was feeling the Holy Ghost, and I had my answer. I have been trying to build my testimony ever since. And though I go through phases of great faith and phases of pride, I know that this gospel is God's work. I know that my Father loves me and that he lives. I choose to live the gospel because it IS my life. It brings me peace and comfort in tandem with the struggles and trials. The Lord has strengthened me and helped me grow. That's why I love it. That's why I love him.

How I live my faith

I think that living your faith is just the small things that happen everyday. It's reaching to better yourself through Christ. And the best way for me to do that is through service! I love people so much. And each person has an individual light. One of my favorite ways to serve is through my martial arts. It's wonderful to be there for people in not only their struggles with techniques but with their lives. I like to be there for people.
