Hi I'm Kenya

I grew up in Utah. Enjoy spending time with friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Just graduated from High School and preparing to serve a mission in the Tahiti, Papeete Mission. I enjoy working out, running is my favorite sport. I come from a big family so family and friends are something that is dear to me. I also love watching movies, scary movies are some of my favorites. Occasionally I like to draw and people usually describe me as funny and friendly.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Both my parents were converts. But through living this gospel I have been able to, in some aspects, become converted to this church and developed my own testimony. I've come to know the power of prayer and how real it is in my life. By constantly praying to my Father in Heaven I have felt His love for me and seen blessings in my life that comes from following His commandments. I know that The Book of Mormon is the word of God. By taking on Moroni's challenge to "ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, if these things are not true (The Book of Mormon Moroni 10:4)" I've come to know, through the power of the spirit, that the Book of Mormon is true. I know my Savior, Jesus Christ, lives and He loves me, and that He died for me so that I may live again. I love this gospel with all my heart and am grateful to the leaders and my family who have raised me and taught me in the ways of truth. And that is why I am and always will be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I am going to a Young Singles Adult Ward. I recently was called as one of the Ward Missionaries. Previously callings I've had was Beehive, Mia Maids, and Laurels President. I also served in the Seminary Council at my High School and was apart of the Stake Youth Committee as Seminary Representative.
