Hi I'm Johnny Fauver

I grew up in California, played sports, hung out with friends, and I love the Church. I'm a proud Mormon.

About Me

I currently go to college at BYU, however I used to swim as a college athlete for University of Hawaii at Manoa, but have since transferred to BYU to get into the atmosphere that I need. I like camping, off roading, going to movies, playing sports, working out, relaxing and playing guitar. I love snowboarding and being in the beautiful mountains of Utah, but since i'm from the good ol' land of California I surf as well and nothing beats the hills of Santa Monica.

Why I am a Mormon

Because its the happiest thing I've ever done in my life. Rarely have I ever experienced such happiness as I do when I live my life as an active Mormon. Every day I get a confirmation that there is a God in heaven that loves each one of us. Who doesn't want that? Being a part of the Mormon church gives me an opportunity to serve others and make another persons day. It's the best way to show your true colors and the kind of person you are. The joy that comes from helping others is better than anything I can experience by doing something for myself. Listening to the advice and guidance the Mormon church has, allows me to keep from being distracted with things such as alcohol and drugs or acting immorally with girls. When I am free from these things I am able to spend more time doing things that help me be a better person and helping others. They allow me to be more happy than is even remotely possible than I were if I were not living my life as a clean Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by listening to the things that our Prophet has taught us to do. By reading my scriptures daily, and saying my prayers morning and nightly, I find myself with renewed enthusiasm to be a better person each day. It allows me to focus on the things in life that truly matter, and in turn when I do those I find am able to help those around me as well. We are taught that when you serve those around you, you are also serving your Father in Heaven. By living according to my standards, I have time to free up my life and focus on those around me. I do this in places such as my church, among my guy and girl friends, and also with everyday strangers who appear in need of help. Following the advice of the church enables me to use the gifts and talents that God has blessed me with, to help others and help them experience the same happiness that I have.
