Hi I'm Lisa 花澄

I'm Japanese American!

About Me

I am Japanese-American birracial, and am currently serving as a volunteer in Japan! I love music, poetry, and trying new things. I like sunshine and blue skies, but I also love the moody sky when its stormy. I like exploring the depth of human emotion and the beauty of our surroundings. I love people and am thrilled to be living in Japan for the first time in my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the influence of God in my life. I can see it in the way the earth turns each day and brings another day, another chance, another destiny. My family means the world to me, and in this love I have, I feel a promise of forever and I know that only the Creator of the Universe Himself has the power to grant the authority to hold us together despite all that may break us apart.

How I live my faith

I study and pray and strive to bring myself closer to God and to become a more Christ-like person--it is impossible to argue that Christ was anything but the most kind and giving of men, and to culture a rich love within myself is something I hope to do for the rest of my life. I believe that love can change the world.
