Hi I'm Curtis

I'm a missionary. I'm an artist. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am preparing to serve a missionary in the Germany, Berlin mission. I love music! Singing, playing, writing. I love theatre! Acting is what I want to pursue after my mission. It is so much fun! Even dancing and visual art. I just love art! But more than all that I love my family. I have my parents, two older sisters and a younger brother. They are amazing people. I love the gospel. It has brought me such joy in life and the only way I can think of to repay it is to pledge my life to it. That is my plan!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for so many reasons. For one, I love the happiness that it brings me and I wouldn't trade that for anything. I love the peace I feel from the Lord's love and spirit. I am Mormon because I know this church and everything in it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my religion by weekly church and temple attendance, because that is how I can have the Lord's spirit with me, the Holy Ghost, and it brings me such peace and joy. I also live my religion by striving to have daily prayer and scripture study. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and it is a perfect companion to the Bible. They compliment each other beautifully. I also study doctrine and covenants, and the pearl of great price. These are all amazing books! Another way I live my religion is by serving others. I know that when we do what the Lord asks of us we are blessed

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Curtis
A testimony is simply a statement of belief or knowledge. We believe that our belief or our faith can become knowledge. You can gain a knowledge about anything really. One of the most important things you can receive a knowledge of is that Jesus Christ is your Savior and that he suffered and died so that you can live. Show more Show less
