Hi I'm Rosa

I live in Colorado. I am a dispatcher. I am a wife and mom. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have three wonderful children. They are the greatest job in my life! I am married to a wonderful man who truly loves me. He pushes and inspires me to be better than I ever thought possible. I just completed my Associates of Science with a major in Business Management, and I am planning to complete a Bachelors degree as well. I work full time as dispatcher for a logistics company on the graveyard shift. I am a knitter. I have been knitting since I was 11, but only recently started to push out of my knitting comfort zone and try projects that have always looked too hard for me to do. I

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon, but that is not the reason I am still a member of this church. I am Mormon because I chose to be. I went though a divorce about 3 years ago and started to question my beliefs. I did my best to keep at least some contact with the church during my darker moments. Earlier this year, I prayed to find out what I needed to do to help my kids as it felt like my oldest was slipping away from me. Less than a week later, the missionaries came over to teach my family. They still come every Monday evening. As my family and I follow their simple teachings, we have grown closer. Later this year, I was challenged by my bishop to study what Christ's Atonement means to me. He died for me. He wants me to reach out and ask for help and forgiveness. He knows me personally and knows when I need help. He is waiting for me to let go of my pride and ask for help. At that point, he will pour blessings on me.

How I live my faith

I have struggled off and on with living my faith. Through my struggles, I never completely stopped praying or attending church services. I learned through these struggles that these simple acts are the seeds of faith.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith. We reverence him as a Prophet of God who restored the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth in the latter days. We worship our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
