Hi I'm Joshua

I grew up in Utah, living "the Good Life" in Nebraska and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm an open book, but that book is not very long! I am serving a mission and am loving every second of it! I come from a relatively large family. I am the fourth of sixth kids and I have two families of relatives that live in the same home town, family is a big deal to me. Go figure!! Music and movies are two of my biggest hobbies. I love going to concerts, anything from hard rock to classical. I worked in a movie theater from almost two years, free movies are always nice! I enjoy most sports but I am not a pro at any of them and that is the way it is going to stay! Attending Medical School is my dream and I am going to work hard to achieve it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not only because I was raised in the Church with a loving supporting family but because I chose for myself to put Moroni's Promise from The Book Of Mormon to the test and to see if the Gospel truly had been restored to the earth. It took time but I did get the "burning in the bosom" that scripture talk about and a feeling that it had to be true! I am proud to call myself a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints! I found out just like anyone can that the Church is true through prayer and reading the scriptures especially The Book Of Mormon, and because it was confirmed to me that it is true I am and will always be a "Mormon"

How I live my faith

Service is a huge part of my life. I was in the Scouting program as a kid and I have been taught to help other people at all times. That has played a huge role in my life as it has helped me meet new people and learn how to love all that I may come in contact with. Jesus Christ who is the greatest example of selfless service is who my faith is in and I try hard to follow his teachings by doing as he did by teaching and serving. It may be hard but there is nothing more gratifying that truly helping others.
