Hi I'm Elder Andy Vo

I am a Missionary serving in the Canada Vancouver Mission. I love sharing the Gospel with everyone I can. I am Mormon!

About Me

I am 19 years old. I am a missionary serving in The Canada Vancouver Mission. I really enjoy music thru choirs and orchestra. I also really like instagram. I am the youngest of all of my siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not born into a Mormon(LDS) family. Although I wasn't always Mormon, looking back i can see how the Lord was preparing me to hear his truth. Having lived in a world of both mormonism and no religion at all i can see and easily recognize the night and day difference that having this gospel has made. This gospel of Jesus Christ has given me direction in a world where all seems to be changing for the worse every day. I used to question where did I come from? why am i here? and Where am I going after? This gospel has power sufficient to answer those questions for you as well. If you are looking for not just a religion to join but a way to live your life by which you can find happiness amidst all the turmoil all round about us I can testify this gospel will do that for you. I find a great deal of strength in knowing that there is an all mighty God who is literally the father of my spirit that cares deeply for me. I know He loves me and He loves you too. Whenever I struggle I always pray to Him for strength and it always comes. Having been in the shoes of being lost without direction, I testify that this gospel will give you that direction. It will change your life like it has changed mine.

How I live my faith

In my community Im often given opportunities to serve the people around me and I love getting to. Every sunday I am in charge of preparing the sacrament (bread and water) for my congregation. I live my life with a willingness to help people through their trials by serving them or just being a good friend for them.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Elder Andy Vo
The LDS church has amazing efforts in providing aid to the needy or distraught. We are a church of preparedness. Most members of the church pay tithing, which is one tenth of their income to the church. These funds are used to provide food, clothes, and other necessities to those in our church as well as non members who would go without otherwise. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Elder Andy Vo
Mormon lifestyle is pretty great! Personally, my goal everyday is to live in such a way that i can support and bring joy to everyone around me. I work every evening as a server, i often go out with friends, I love spending time with people and getting to know them, and I always embrace my somewhat excessive sense of humor(so i've been told). Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon temples? What goes on in Mormon temples?

Elder Andy Vo
Many people think Mormon temples are mysterious places where all is kept secret. In reality our temples are that secret at all and everything that is done inside the temples can be found in our scriptures. instead the temples are sacred. We believe temples to be the most holy and sacred places on earth and we really respect and honor the privilege that it is to be able to go inside and perform ordinances. anyone can go into the temple as long as they live their lives in such a way that shows they are willing to respect and honor the sacred spirit about the temple. Temples are a place of happiness and joy. They are houses of the Lord and no unclean thing can enter for that very reason. Show more Show less
