Hi I'm Rebekah

I grew up in Utah. I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in the same house my whole life, except for when I went to college for a semester. I've travelled a lot around the United States and Canada as well as several countries in Europe, and I feel very fortunate to have had these experiences before even turning 19. I actually had my 18th birthday during the Europe trip. Music is one of the biggest parts of my life, and the reason I did so much travelling. I play the piano, flute and piccolo, as well as the guitar and harp a little bit. I also was a member of the local choir for over 10 years. My family is the other major part of my life. They are the ones I always know I can turn to and they will always be there for me no matter what. I have six brothers and one sister. I am the sixth child and my sister is the oldest, making us 10 years or 4 brothers apart. My 3 oldest siblings are married and I have 6 adorable nieces and nephews.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and raised by parents who love the Gospel and taught me about it all through my life. I don't know who I would be without it. I have a testimony of God's love for me and for all of His children. I know that Jesus Christ Atoned for all of our sins, that we may be able to live again in the glorious realms of Heaven with our families for all of eternity. I know this because I am not perfect. I have made many mistakes, but was helped by the power of Christ's Atonement. Simply by living what I have been taught, I have gained the knowledge for myself. I have a testimony that when we are obedient to God's commandments, we will be happier in this life and in the life to come. This is why I am a Mormon--because I know it's true.

How I live my faith

I was a member of the Utah Valley Children's Choir for 11 years. This group is one that consists of youth ages 4-18 and sings only religious music. It still plays a major part in my life. I have served in a few callings in the church, one of them has been to be a nursery leader. I get to take care of the young children 18 months to 3 years old during church on Sundays and teach them basic principles of the gospel. I will be serving as a missionary for the church for 18 months. I am looking forward to being an ambassador for Christ and bringing souls unto Him.
