Hi I'm Jade

I grew up in Trenton, Utah. I love my family, play sports, shoot, archery, and am excited to serve as a missionary in New Mexico.

About Me

I am a high school graduate, who loves sports. I play most any of them. I love ranching. I grew up in 4-H, raising livestock (cattle and hogs). I was an active FFA member and an officer my senior year of high school. I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in New Mexico, and love the gospel. I love my Father in Heaven and am so thankful to Him for sending His Son to die for my sins so I might repent. I love Jesus Christ. I know He lives and is my older brother. I love the scriptures. I love Joseph Smith. He is the prophet who ushered in the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon stands with the Bible.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). I found the Gospel being born into a Mormon Family. The Gospel of Jesus Christ always was clear and right to me. As I prayed to know for myself if the Gospel was right, if it was real, I received my own witness that God, our eternal Father in Heaven is real. He has a body of flesh and bone, and He dwells in the Heavens. He loves me. He loves us all because we are all His children. He's the father of our spirits. His Son, Jesus Christ was born to earth, lived, was killed, and rose again. He lives, and because of all He did, I can repent. I mess up just like anyone, but I know I can fix it. There's no sin too great that Jesus cannot take away from us if we repent. We're not perfect. Perfection just ain't happening in this life. That's why Jesus Christ suffered for me, so that through my best in this life and my trying harder and harder, someday, when I meet my Father and His Son again, I can be healed and perfect. Just ask Him. It's okay to be afraid. It's okay to wonder. Prayer works.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a full-time missionary currently. I am spending 18 months sharing with others God's love and teaching about the Gospel of Christ.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Jade
Our Father in Heaven, God, is merciful, kind, and the father of our spirits. He knows us all so well and gives us direction, the gospel of Jesus Christ, to lead us in our lives that we might live with Him someday. That is love if I ever saw it. His love does not depend on the color or race, whether we are struggling, sinning, trying to live right, fat, skinny, have a disease, none of it. It's unconditional. In God's love, there is no fear. In His eyes, we are everything. This is why we have the gospel. This is why He's given us his church. This is why I wake up and pray to know what I can do to live like Him throughout my day. He loved us first. Show more Show less
