Hi I'm Grace

I grew up in Utah. I am an identical twin. I love to bake. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college, I love the outdoors and going on adventures in the summer with my family, but my favorite time of the year is winter! I love winter sports like snowboarding and skiing and I especially love Christmas.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but it wasn't till the age of 12 that I gained my own personal testimony of the church and it's truthfulness. During the time I had been studying faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice. The topic had really had peaked an interest in me and I wanted to learn all that I could about it. One day as I was searching the scriptures I came across a passage found in the Old Testament, Isaiah 53: 3-6, "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement or our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord that laid on him the iniquity of us all." These verse spoke to me, Jesus was willing to take on all of our transgressions, sins, heartache, lose, and sorrow because he truly loves us. My testimony is built upon the atonement of Jesus Christ, I know that without doubt it is true and that Jesus loves each one of us, he knows us personally and wants us to return to our Heavenly Father again. This gospel is the only way to find everlasting happiness in this life and the life to come. I am eternally grateful for the sacrifice Jesus made for me and I am blessed to be a member of this amazing church.

How I live my faith

Currently I am the pianist for my ward choir and it is such a great opportunity and blessing, I love being able to share my talents while getting to know members of my ward better. I also love to study my scriptures each day it brings such peace and happiness to my life.
