Hi I'm Sara Ostler

I hiked the three tallest mountains in Utah in one day. I'm the happiest person you'll meet. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Sara and I love music. I graduated from high school may 2014. I play the piano and hope to one day major in music therapy at Utah State University but right now i'm getting ready to serve a mission for my church in Argentina! I've been on a lot of adventures in my life, I've kayaked, river rafted, wind surfed, rock climbed and much more, but being a missionary is one of the biggest adventures I've chosen to embark on yet. Reading books, flying kites, playing chess, going to church, and hanging out with my four brothers and sisters is what makes me most happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the spirit has testified to me the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel so good when I pray to my father in heaven. When I have hard times he has answered my prayers and because of my faith in him and this gospel I have been able to feel his love and true happiness. Being a Mormon isn't always easy but it is worth it. I continue to follow this gospel because I know it's true and nothing else makes sense to me. I want to live with my Father in Heaven again and I want to be with my family forever even after death and I know I can be if I live righteously and follow the Lords plan for me.

How I live my faith

I've been preparing to serve as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. I've been called to serve in the Resestencia Argentina Mission for 18 months and I leave November 19, 2014. I've spent most of my life going to church, and youth activities and i've always loved. It hasn't always been easy but my faith in Jesus grows more and more each day. I've just recently realized how important it is to serve God by serving others. I am a CNA and a Caretaker so I am surrounded every day with people that need to be served and loved. As I serve and love people in need I realize how much the Lord is helping me and how happy I've become. This is why i've chosen to serve a mission! I hope to bring the happiness I feel to others and teach them of the Lord and his gospel.
