Hi I'm Dorothy!

I'm a missionary serving in the Washington Spokane Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two older brothers and two younger brothers. Yes. That means I am the middle child AND the only girl. It has it's ups and downs, but it's really not that bad. I enjoy riding my bike, reading, knitting and crocheting (I'm working on making myself a quilt right now), trying new things, and making other people laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

Something I love about this Gospel is you never stop learning. I've heard the same lesson at least 500 times in my life, but it comes to me differently every time. I Learn something different because of the different phases in my life.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to church and love all the new things I learn. Something I like to do is come up with object lessons and analogies. I may not always say them, but when I do, people come back to me and compliment me on how powerful it was for them and I Thank my Father in Heaven for being able to bless their life.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

I'm currently serving as a missionary and I came on a Mission to spread the truth of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I don't get paid for it. I actually pay to do it! Us Missionaries have to save up from our personal funds and pay our way! Just like you would pay to go on a ride at an amusement park, we pay our way to go on a mission. And something that they both have in common is that they are both fun! I've never felt so much happiness in my life! I'm happy to pay for my mission because of the joy it brings to me. I love to see others find different ways of how the Gospel blesses their life and blesses their family. I may be paying money right now, but the blessings and miracles I've seen are Priceless.
