Hi I'm Camilla

I seek adventures of all kinds, I believe in miracles, and I LOVE being a Mormon!

About Me

Travelling, hiking, biking, running, camping, singing, dancing, learning- you name it, I love to do it! There are so many opportunities to learn and grow in this life, and I am a believer in enjoying whatever comes my way. I was born and raised in the Church; I come from a family of 9, and they are the most important people in the world to me! Family is everything! I am a registered nurse, and I have come to find that helping others on their road to recovery is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life. Nothing has brought me closer to Christ than serving His children. I am currently serving a full-time mission in Santiago, Chile.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, and cannot imagine life any other way. I was raised in the Church, and gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of it by the time I was a teenager. I continue to live my faith because I know that GOD IS REAL. He lives. He sent His son, Jesus Christ, as our Savior and Redeemer so that we can return to live with Them again. Something that I hold near and dear to my heart is the power of prayer. Heavenly Father wants us to communicate with Him. He has made it very apparent to me that He not only hears my prayers, but answers them as well. He has a plan for each and every one of us, and we can be led and guided to know what that plan is when we seek Him in prayer. I know that our church was restored by the prophet Joseph Smith, and today it is led by a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. The Book of Mormon is true, and by reading it I have come to better know and understand my Savior. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is REAL, and enables me to be better each and every day. I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it is true, I love it, and I love who it helps me to become by living its teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my wards, organizing events, and serving others through various callings. I also live my faith by BEING HAPPY! Even when life gets hectic and stressful, I choose to find the good in every day. God blesses us so much, and when I recognize those blessings, I can feel myself drawing closer to Him.
