Hi I'm Martin

I am a grandfather, a reader, a farmer, a missionary, I enjoy making things and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I read and discover new ideas like how to build something or change something to be more useful. I enjoy being outdoors doing things with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy welding. But above all I want to keep the commandments because they make me happy and bless my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Spirit of God has made an impression on my heart which convinces me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is actually the restored church that Jesus set up when He lived here on the earth. Being in touch with the Spirit of God is what I hope to cultivate so I can recognize it more often.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by contributing whatever I can in the way of my personal resources which includes my time. Which is why I am serving a mission in Nauvoo Illinois, a very interesting historical site. It has been referred to as the Williamsburg of the midwestern United States. There are so many interesting people who come to visit here and each has a story of his own. I can share my convictions with them, the things that I have learned from the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
