Hi I'm Rebekah

I'm the oldest of 6 children. I'm a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, there! I'm a college student, photographer, and Audrey Hepburn enthusiast. When I'm not working or studying, I also enjoy spending time with my lively family, watching old movies, and playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me true happiness! There's just nothing that can compare to the Spirit I feel as I immerse myself in the teachings of The Book of Mormon, pray to my Heavenly Father, and live the teachings of the gospel. I know that they are true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I know that he did see God and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that through divine help, Joseph Smith was able to restore the true church of Jesus Christ back to the earth and translate The Book of Mormon. I also know that The Book of Mormon is an additional witness of Jesus Christ. I know that God lives. I know that through our Savior's Atonement we can repent, change, and become more like Him. As I've continued to study The Book of Mormon and live the teachings of Jesus Christ, I've received my own witness through the power of Holy Ghost that all these things are true.

How I live my faith

One of the things I love most about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the opportunity we have to constantly serve. Sometimes we serve in large capacities, however, I've found that some of the best ways to serve are also the simplest. From a sincere compliment to a homemade dessert, you just never know how these seemingly small acts of kindness may impact a person. Plus, I love the feeling I get when I serve! I always feel an added measure of my Heavenly Father's love when I strive to follow my Savior's example of pure kindness and charity. Another way we serve as Latter-day Saints is through our church callings. I currently serve as a teacher for the women's organization of our church. Although, at times, church callings require much time and effort, I've also seen the immeasurable blessings of serving in these capacities. I've also been able to receive the peace that comes from learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ and sharing that in my calling.
