Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in Layton, Utah. Born and raised in the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in a home that is very big into sports. I have played baseball, basketball, and football growing up, and then went on to play both baseball, and basketball in high school. I am preparing to serve in the Lima Peru West Mission, leaving in October and very humbled for the opportunity.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel is the true and living gospel on the earth yesterday, today, and forever. I have felt the blessings that this church has brought into my life and the guidance that it provides. I have a Testimony of The Atonement of Christ and the great blessing it is me, and to everyone that chooses to use it. No matter what you have done, what you have gone through, he knows how to help you personally. He knows you personally and if you ever find yourself starting to slip away he has the means to bring you back in. He wants you to come back to him. He is begging you to come back to him, all it takes is for you to accept him, and ask for his help and I promise he will. The Book of Mormon is a tool that all should utilize. It is the greatest testifying power of The Lord. Even though it may be set thousands of years ago there are lessons that can be sought and applied in our world today. Whenever in time of trial or in need of help The Spirit of the Lord will provide the needs to help you with diligent study and sincere prayer. As great as this tool is in time of trial, it is just as great in time of comfort. It will help you to continue to grow and further that relationship with our Father in Heaven and even provide guidance as how to avoid troubling times. Be grateful in times of trouble for the Lord is there with you, and will not give any trial that you are not apt to handle. For within these experiences are the greatest opportunities to learn and grow both spiritually, and maturely. I know Joseph Smith is a true Prophet of the lord and the faith he showed for the work he restored will continue to be taught and others will learn of the goodness of Christ. Thomas S. Monson is the true Prophet today and receives guidance for the church to lead in these Latter-Days. For I know this church is true. If it was not I would not serve but because I know it is I will serve. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve a mission in the Lima Peru West mission. I am very excited for this opportunity to be able to share the happiness that the gospel has brought to me with the people of Peru and introduce them to the guidance of Christ that so many are looking for. I have served in many leadership positions growing up within the youth of the church organizing activities, looking for ways to improve relations, and continuing to further the work of The Lord with in the church.
