Hi I'm Joey Bennett

I'm a music lover, graphic designer, photographer, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a graphic designer, photographer, and I love listening to all kinds of music. I grew up in Northern California. And I'll head off to college at BYU-I for Web development soon!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 9, but I didn't really care that much when I was baptized. Years and years went on just going through the motions and not caring, until I got to my senior year of High School. Didn't know what to do with my life, wasn't even sure if God was real. Just because you go to church, doesn't always mean that you believe in everything. I got invited at the beginning of my senior year to read the Book of Mormon. I had never read it before nor really wanted to, but I thought I would give it a shot. I had heard of the promise of the Book of Mormon before, so I set off on the journey of finding out if it was true or not. If true then I'm going all in. If not then I'm leaving. I read it everyday for months. It started with just 5 mins a day, soon it grew to 10, 15, then 30 mins a day. I finally finished the Book of Mormon just a little passed my graduation of High School. I felt like it was true, but didn't know. So I got an impression to pray about it. So I did. I know that the Book of Mormon is scripture. That as we read from its pages and apply what we learned to our lives, we will get nearer to God. I know that Jesus is the Christ. He is the Savior and Redeemer. He is my King and my Lord. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father that cares about us so much that we can't even comprehend. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ church on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving and serving others and trying to come closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father through Prayer, scripture reading, and attending church.
