Hi I'm Jonny

I grew up in Salt Lake. I am serving my mission in Hawaii. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am serving a two-year mission in the Hawaii Honolulu Mission. Afterwords I plan on attending BYU and earning a degree in Exercise Science, the plan is to eventually become a Physical Therapist. I love hiking to the top of Utah's peaks and I also love running. I like to try new things and get the most out of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this faith allows you to see the good in life. I was raised Mormon, but didn't take it seriously until recently. Ever since I have begun apply and search after the doctrine more, I've felt a dramatic change in my life. I feel the light, life, and love of Christ and know that I am loved by my God. I love this Church because it has allowed me to find joy in myself, others, and my Savior, which has allowed me to recognize when others are in need of my help and love. I try and become a little better each day, and still have a long ways to go, but it is truly delightful to know you are on the right course in life.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the LDS Church. I am studying the scriptures and within the temple to prepare myself for helping others receive the gospel, and building my life on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

I believe that taking care of our bodies is very important. By not defiling our bodies with drugs, alcohol, and getting regular exercise I find that I am able to have a clear mind, and am able to feel the Holy Spirit more. Our bodies are created by God. Man is composed of a mortal body and an immortal spirit, they work together to make us, so I find that logically it makes sense to upkeep both of them. Show more Show less
