Hi I'm Janzen Ferrin

I'm a Colorado Native, avid Hockey fan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a recent high school graduate who is thrilled to serve a Mission For The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm the youngest of six kids and love spending time with my friends and family. As a true Colorado native, I love to go backpacking, camping, and fishing; However, that doesn't mean I don't also love to fiddle with computers and other electronic devices and software. I'm a huge fan of the Colorado Avalanche, and I enjoy a good movie or game from time to time.

Why I am a Mormon

I gain comfort in knowing who I am, where I came from, and where I'm going. Family has always been important to me, and I love that I can live with my family forever, even after this life. I have seen the joy this gospel brings out of not only me, but others I associate with. I love that an all-encompassing atonement was set up for not only me, but for everyone. The atonement of Jesus Christ is Incredible; because of it we can find solace in our sadness, joy in our afflictions, and growth through our challenges. Even when you feel abandoned, I can testify that Christ will never forsake you. He is the good shepherd that will find you when you're lost and he is the one who will carry you when you can no longer sustain your own weight. He is the son of a living God. These simple truths are ones that I know of a surety. Like me, you too can gain this knowledge through prayer and diligent study. I testify that this gospel will bring you happiness, and it will make your life one of peace.

How I live my faith

I'm serving as a missionary, spreading the love and healing power of Jesus Christ to all that will hear his gospel. I enjoy serving others, and it helps bring fulfillment to my life. When there is a need present, I try to fill it as best as my ultimate example, even Jesus Christ, would. I chose to become a missionary because I love the people I serve and it would be selfish of me to withhold this amazing Gospel, which I know is true. I want others to feel the joy and happiness that comes from living a Christ-centered life.
