Hi I'm Casey Skinner

I am currently serving a mission in Provo, Utah (Spanish speaking). I love my family and I love playing trumpet. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school in 2014 and am currently serving a mission in Provo, Utah (Spanish-speaking). I have played trumpet for seven years and love music. I plan to attend BYU-Provo when I return from my mission and hope to eventually go to medical school and have a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an active LDS family and am very grateful to my parents for raising me in a home where I could learn about Jesus Christ and His teaching. Although I was baptized when I turned eight and have gone to church my whole life, I haven't always acted in accordance with what I've always known to be true. I have seen and felt in my own life (and now, on a mission, in the lives of many others) the absolute happiness and peace that come when we follow the commandments of Heavenly Father. I haven't ever seen a vision or had a dream that confirms to me the truth of my decision to remain an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but through my daily decisions and the consequences--good and bad--that come with those choices, I have gained a strong testimony that my desire and actions to follow the Savior will one day bring me back to Him and will bring me happiness in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I currently serve 24/7 as a full-time missionary in Provo, Utah. My purpose right now is 100% to help others come unto Christ. I am doing that by teaching lessons, offering service, and just trying to be an example for others and a good person in general. I love getting to meet new people and helping them--no matter who they are or were--feel the joy and peace that come through living the gospel of Jesus Christ.
