Hi I'm Scott

I was born in Brigham City, Utah. I served a mission to Gulf States Mission (1967) & Lima North Mission (2010). I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of 5 married children and have 7 grandchildren. I returned from a mission to the Gulf States in 1969. I attended Weber State College. I have sold life insurance, worked various accounting positions, ran my own furniture business, and have been a hotel and timeshare resort manager. I am a very good handy man doing most everything around the home. I spend my retirement years helping other people around their homes.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life. After serving in the mission field I could see the church helping those people that we were teaching and that made my testimony grow to come to know that The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true and living church on the earth. I know that the Church is led by the Lord's chosen Prophets and Apostles. God spoke to prophets in ancient America and they wrote those words down and we have them today in The Book of Mormon. I know that because of the atonement of Jesus Christ all mankind can be saved by obeying the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I served with my wife in the Peru Lima North Mission. We served 15 months in the Amazon Jungle in the city of Nauta. I was first the Group President and then the Branch President. I have worked with the youth of the church for my whole adult life including the Boy Scouts of America. I love serving in the Salt Lake Temple as an ordinance worker two nights a week. I have worked for the Neighborhood Watch program in Cottonwood Heights and am CERT certified.
