Hi I'm Aaron

I'm an active duty service-member. I love to travel, I love learning, and I love to help others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an active duty military service member and through work, church service and recreational adventures I have had many opportunities to travel and meet people around the world. When I'm home I like to spend time with family and friends, hit the gym, kayak and surf.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and were baptized shortly before I was born. I was blessed to grow up in the Church and receive the benefit of lifelong exposure to the Scriptures and many other spiritual resources. However, even with all this exposure, I had to develop for myself a testimony of the truthfulness of the things I had been taught all my life and make a personal commitment to follow the teachings of Christ no matter what. This was not a brief process and I even spent a number of years far from activity in the Church until I came to a better understanding of how much the Lord loves each one of us and is concerned even with mundane details in our lives. I know that all that is best in my life is a result of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it is my prayer that all of my brothers and sisters can come to this conclusion for themselves and have it confirmed to them by the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

I spent two years in the Dominican Republic as a full-time missionary and I am currently serving as a Ward Mission Leader. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be so involved in missionary work even after my full time service. I really enjoy watching people come to a more complete understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and set those goals that will best lead to happiness in this life and the next.
