Hi I'm Carol

I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am proud of my Mormon pioneer heritage. I run my own accounting business. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy mother of five and grandmother of seven. I love spending time tending grand babies. Family is very important to me. I am an accountant and work from my home office. This allows me priority time with my family. My work comes second, which means I sometimes work late at night.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to return to the presence of Heavenly Father together with my family. I know that the Church that Jesus Christ established on the earth with Apostles and Prophets was lost from the earth after His crucifixion. I have a strong testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith and in the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in these latter days. I have a testimony that the Bible is the word of God and that the Book of Mormon is also the word of God and is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that we are guided by living Prophets and Apostles today. I know that Jesus Christ lived, died and resurrected so that I can be resurrected along with all mankind. The Gospel of Jesus Christ provides me with the ordinances to be able to return to Heavenly Father's presence. I show my love to Him by keeping his commandments. These commandments help me to be happy in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

Because I want to have a forever family, I am very committed to the ordinances of the temple. I work two days a week as an ordinance worker and also love family history. I have a strong pioneer heritage and I love to read their personal histories of faith and commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of them knew the Prophet Joseph Smith personally, helped to build the Kirtland and Nauvoo Temples and all 16 of my great-great grandparents crossed the plains to come to the Salt Lake Valley. They helped to settle many of the cities here in Utah. I am a family history consultant in my ward and love to help ward members find their ancestors and perform ordinances for them in the temple. I served a mission to Uruguay as a single adult. My husband and I served a mission together in 2010-2012 in the jungle of Peru. We were able to establish a new branch of the Church there. We had such a positive and rewarding experience that we are going again to the same place. We will serve from 2015-2016. We will truly miss our family, but the blessings they receive from our service far outweighs any sacrifice we and they make by having us gone.
