Hi I'm Paige Norcross

I'm a Navajo. I love music, art, archery and I LOVE being a missionary in the Spokane, Washington Mission.

About Me

I am a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, since February 2012 and now I'm serving a mission in the Spokane, Washington Mission. I grew up in two places; Fort Defiance, Arizona and Mesa, Arizona. The difference between the two, Fort Defiance gets snow and Mesa is 24/7 hot, but I love both places. My family and I grew up with a bunch of animals, so I love animals! I have two older siblings! :) I like archery, sushi, cheesecake, and anything that has chocolate. I love playing the piano, viola, video games, reading mystery books. I love my friends and family, and I love meeting new people. I studied Mechanical Engineering for a year. Yup! :)

Why I am a Mormon

As a convert, I wanted to have my own opinion of the LDS Church because while I was in college, I would hear disrespectful remarks about the church. I started to investigate, and soon enough, I started having lessons with the missionaries. My only interest was to understand the church, but I began to become more curious and interested about the church. Question began to rise and as the missionaries taught me, if I have any questions, that I should pray. I sincerely prayed to Heavenly Father for some answers, and sure enough that night my pray was answered. I was overwhelmed, filled with joy and there was a sense of no doubt in my heart. No doubt that Heavenly Father answered my prayer, no doubt that the church, Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon was true. It was real, at that moment, I decided to get baptize and I accepted the trials that will come in my life. To this day, I know in my heart that with faith in our hearts than He will "ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders" (Mosiah 24: 14) because time here on Earth is for preparation and that we "might have joy" (2 Nephi 2:25).

How I live my faith

"Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face but with great purpose" as Gordan B. Hinckley stated here, I want to move forward with my faith twinkling in my eye and my smiling show my faith. I want to obey and honor covenants I made so that I can be worthy to enter the temple, to be a worthy respectable women, mother, wife and individual.
