Hi I'm Jacob Jesperson

I am from Las Vegas, serving in the Anchorage Alaska misson, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I was raised in sin city but I was born into a fantastic family who raised me well. I recently left my home where I was working construction to serve the Lord for two years as a missionary in Alaska! In my spare time I love to daydream of being a self sustaining farmer, a bassist in an indie rock band, living in a rad school bus, and riding my bike across the country.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel has brought me more peace then I could ever hope to find. I have always been intrigued by self mastery and the church has shown me how I can continue to pursue that. I love all things simple and though the gospel has many intricacies to it's doctrine I truly believe it is the best way to simplify and improve my life. All of these things and also that I have found that the teachings are all to be true is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Since October, 2014 I left for Alaska for two years to try and help further the work of the Lord and his great gospel. I spent every single day serving the people of Alaska through proselyting, blessing, and just helping out where ever I can. I left behind my family, a full time job, friends, school and even girls to help try and bring his work forward because it is my sacred duty to bring others the happiness that i have been blessed with.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Jacob Jesperson
Of course not! We are all children of our Heavenly Father and we believe that as brothers and sisters it is up to us to help everyone that we can. No matter what they look like, where they come from or what they believe. Show more Show less
