Hi I'm Savanah LuBean

I am a Mormon. I was born and raised in Provo, Utah. I like Music, Cosmetology, Photography, Art, and Sewing.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah in an LDS family. My main hobby is music. I play the Piano, French Horn, Mellophone, Ukulele, and began the Trumpet. I play the French Horn for the Provo High Wind Ensemble, and the Mellophone for the Provo High Marching Band. I love to sing. I was recently in an advanced women's choir at my High School called, "Bella Voce." I am now going into Chamber Singers, compsed of men and women, and is the most advanced choir at my school. I grew up in a very musical family. We like to get together and sing around the piano. Some of my other hobbies are Art, Photography, Cosmetology, and Sewing. I also love fashion and shoes, and spending time with family and friends. Some of my favorite vacation locations are Pismo Beach, California and Hawaii. I also love camping and campfires, and making s'mores, visiting National Parks and hiking, and going to Amusement Parks. Some of my favorite foods are Costa Vida Burritos, Curried Chicken Salad, and Chicken Tika Masala. My favorite fruit is Pineapple, as long as it is fresh. Some of my favorite shows are Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Once Upon a Time. I also like watching Korean Dramas. I enjoy reading when I have the time. My favorite genres are action adventure, and fantasy. Some of my favorite books are Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and the Goose Girl Series. I also really love the Harry Potter movies. Some people see me as a shy person, but once you really get to know me, I can be fun and spontaneous.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an active LDS family. I have a testimony of this gospel. Heavenly Father answers our prayers. When the devil tries tempting me that it isn't true, I pray that I will have faith and believe in the gospel. Our church contains all priesthood keys. I have received priesthood blessings and can testify that they work. It is God's power. The Gospel provides blessings, is a safe haven from all of the evils in this world, and protects me through life's storms. As I rely on the Savior, and my Heavenly Father, I can make it through my trials, and be given direction in my life. I recieve comfort and peace by being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I listen to General Conference. I am in Seminary at my school. I have taught some lessons in the Young Women organization at church before, and given talks in church. I strive to keep the commandments. I have prayed for multiple reasons throughout my day. I rely on my Savior, and Heavenly Father to help me in everything I do. I share my thoughts and testimony through social media, and to those around me. I strive to live by the standards in the For the Strength of Youth pamphlet by the church.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Savanah LuBean
We believe that he is our Savior, Redeemer, and the Son of God. Without him, we couldn't return and live with our Heavenly Father again. He atoned for our sins and our sorrows. He can help us overcome the bad in us and bad habits, and help us to become better people. The Youth Theme song states, " Come unto Christ. Come unto Him and by His grace be made holy again. He's calling your name. He's waiting for you with arms open wide. Come unto Christ." The Savior is there for us when we need Him. We just need to ask. His loving arms are open and he is waiting for us to come to Him. We could never repay him for all that he has done for us, but we can show our love and appreciation to him by keeping His commandments and following in His footsteps. The Savior is our brother and our friend. Show more Show less
